“We are excited to keep Marshawn Lynch as part of what we are building,” Seattle Seahawks general manager John Schneider said in a statement. “This is what we were hoping for when we acquired him.”

Marshawn Lynch signs 4 year, $31 million deal, including $18 guaranteed
This signing comes on the eve of the Franchise Tag deadline, which the Seahawks were planning on using on Lynch if they couldn’t lock him up in time.
The Seahawks acquired Lynch from Buffalo mid-season in 2010. He is famously known around the country for his Beast Mode touchdown run against the Saints in the playoffs where the Seahawks shocked the defending world champs and ended their title defense early.
The 25-year-old Lynch is coming off a breakout season, rushing for more than 1,200 yards and 12 touchdowns. After failing to rush for more than 100 yards in the first seven games, Lynch hit the plateau six times over the final nine weeks, on his way to earning a Pro-Bowl nod.
A former first-round pick of the Buffalo Bills, Lynch set a Seattle franchise record by scoring in 11 consecutive games.
It was the third 1,000-yard season of his career, but the first one since his second season with the Bills in 2008.
Lynch was drafted 12th overall in the 2007 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills and this now leaves open the possibility of the Seahawks using their Franchise Tag on Red Bryant.
What do you think, Seahawks fans?
Happy to see Lynch back for 4 more years?
