“Get Your Popcorn Ready”
As a team whose defense overshadows the offense, the most irreplaceable player on the Seattle Seahawks should be on defense.
Many options here include safeties Kam Chancellor and Earl Thomas, cornerbacks Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner, and defensive end Chris Clemons.
All players have come up big in late games and kept opposing teams out of the end zone more often than not.
What does it take to be irreplaceable?
Irreplaceable simply means any current player that cannot be replaced. He produces for the team on a weekly basis whether it be a statistical play or one that goes unnoticed.
He comes to compete every Sunday for the Seahawks in an unselfish manner, and his primary goal is to do what is best for the team. His effort on and off the field reflect his character as a role model on the team.
Most importantly, he is the player you want to see when the game is on the line.
Who is it?
This player happens to be on offense, and his name is Marshawn Lynch aka “BeastMode”.

Marshawn Lynch scored in ten straight games in the 2012 season
Running for 1,204 yards and 12 TD’s last year, Lynch provided Seattle with a dominant running game throughout the season. He scored in ten straight games before falling short in the season finale against the Arizona Cardinals.
It was his first 1,000+ yard season since 2008. Lynch was also the first player last year to score a rushing touchdown against the San Francisco 49ers.
When Tarvaris Jackson struggled, Lynch was there to take the load off of his shoulders. A role model in the locker room, he provided moral support to the players and got them pumped before games.
When he had the ball, big plays were made on a regular basis. Who else could carry the ball and run over opposing defenders almost every play? It takes more than one to take him down.
He pushes to gain the extra yards and get the offense the first down.
It wasn’t only his running game that made him dominant. He caught balls out of the backfield and provided Jackson with an extra option.
Marshawn Lynch is undoubtedly the most irreplaceable player on the Seattle Seahawks, and let more Skittles fly next season.
Here’s some great Lynch runs during his time in Seattle.
